Résumé

This paper aims at understanding the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on adult education in Quebec (Canada).More specifically, we look at how the Adult General Education (AGE) sector has been impacted regarding student attendanceand the composition of their student body. We look at significant internal and provincial management events during the pandemic, and their impacts on AGE in Quebec. We used a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative analyses. Inour discussion of the findings, we explore the potential implications of these changes for adult education, and what the management of the pandemic tells us about the place of AGE in Quebec.
