Résumé

This document outlines the Canada Research Chair (CRC) program focused on improving First Nations child and family services. The program aims to address structural issues leading to overrepresentation of First Nations children in child welfare systems. It seeks to develop and implement evidence-informed, culturally appropriate services while supporting First Nations in identifying their needs and desired outcomes. The CRC program will document best practices, develop evaluation frameworks, create an information base for reform, and train service providers.
